在虚拟语气的条件从句中，当用到be的过去式时，无论主语是人还是物，也不论人称和数，统一用were，但在口语和其他一些非正式文体中，也可能用到was.
【虚拟语气中可用was吗】例句：
If this was the real moon，you could jump over my head.
He is pretending that the bathtub was a swimming pool.
当主语为单数第一或第三人称时，非正式语体都可以用was代替were使用
1、表示与现在事实相反的情况下会用were例如:
If I were you，I would take an umbrella. 如果我是你，我会带把伞 。（事实：我不可能是你）
2、.表示对将来情况的主观推测从句用if+主语+were to do例如:
If she were to be here next Monday，I would tell her about the matter.
